The Brief

This penthouse's entire value proposition sits in one thing: the view. Perched on the third floor with uninterrupted ocean views over Coogee, floor-to-ceiling windows and a private balcony, the property's appeal comes from its elevated position on the eastern coastline — not from square footage or scale. The photography needed to prove that position and make the ocean panorama the hero of the listing, while also making the light-filled, open-plan living space feel as inviting as the view itself.

The Approach

• Shot as presented — capturing the natural light through the floor-to-ceiling windows and the flow from the open-plan living and dining area out onto the private balcony

• Every room shot at least twice, covering both king bedrooms (including the ensuite and private balcony off bedroom one), the kitchen and the main living space

• Drone photography was essential here — with the apartment's value built almost entirely around its elevated, ocean-facing position, aerial shots were used to show exactly how the property sits above Coogee Beach and captures the coastline, something interior shots alone couldn't communicate
